History

BREDAPHOTO originates form 2003. A great initiative from a Breda based entrepreneur and lover of photography: Ad Vlemmix.  In 2005 the second edition found place under his direction.

The third edition in 2008 was organized by a new board and a new organization. A lot of improvements made a more professional festival. Especialy the outside exhibition XXL was praised for its expicit statement.

The 2012 edition is the fifth edition. BREDAPHOTO is very happy with the intense collaboration with Belgium and the Belgian art academies.
