/ Armin Linke (Italy, 1966) works as an
artist in
in Karlsruhe, Venice and Cambridge (USA).
He exhibits all over the world and has so far
published nine books. Linke uses photography
and other media to blur or obscure
the boundary between fiction and reality.
He is working on an ongoing photo archive,
documenting human activity and natural
and man-made landscapes.
Linke’s installation at BREDAPHOTO
builds on his previous project Phenotypes /
Limited Forms (2008). In that project he allowed
visitors to work with his archive photos.
They were able to select them, group
them together and project them, finally
being allowed to print out their self-made
collection as a unique publication. The underlying
idea was that a visitor who actively
participates in an exhibition will do more
than simply look at the works; he will also
question them.Go to photographers overview
